Jan 2021 Covid-19 Update
Happy New Year, here's to 2021!
First off, let us wish all our customers a Happy New Year! We hope you and your families are staying safe in these unprecedented times.
2020 was a year like no other, a year that nobody could predict, and a year that has had many more downs than ups. Whilst our coaches were parked up for a majority of the year, we did still get to visit a few seaside towns, support local sports teams with travel, provide rail replacement services, run our school services and also, with an increase in distancing between us all, aid in adding capacity to local school runs with the provision of extra vehicles to get children to school safely.
The above is no mean feat in these trying times and we wish to thank all our customers, old and new, for supporting us. Our trips are for you and our drivers cannot wait to get you back on their vehicles in 2021 as soon as safely possible and take you out and about again.
In the present time, we are in ‘Lockdown 3.0’. The message is Stay Home, Protect The NHS, Save Lives. We can’t reiterate that message enough. And whilst that is damaging to businesses such as ours, I am sure we stand together in wanting to move on safely in a post-Covid era. It will take time, but together we can succeed. Vaccinations are being rolled out, and we have been in contact with the council on how we may be able to help.
We thank all Key Workers and the NHS for all their hard work so far, and for all the work they continue to do.
Our vehicles are not completely parked up. As it stands, we are again helping local families with travel to and from school. Those children of Key Workers and those deemed vulnerable can access our services around the Sevenoaks and Tunbridge Wells areas. Please head to to check the latest times as these change frequently.
Whilst restrictions prevent us from operating as we normally would, we are working tirelessly to be able to provide day trips and tours when guidance and restrictions allow. We are rewriting brochures after every new snippet of information for the UK Government, and are planning for life operating with strict new guidance and procedures once we are allowed to operate.
We can’t provide a timeframe for reopening, but do keep an eye online, Facebook and Twitter. Do keep in contact with the office. When there is more concrete guidance or an idea of timeframes we will, of course, communicate with you, our customers.
In 2021 we not only plan to visit our customer’s favourite locations around the UK, but we also hope to offer new trips with new locations. Going forward, as a small independent operator, we rely heavily on customer feedback and reviews to spread our name about.
